Korthalsella lindsayi
Dwarf or Leafless NZ Mistletoe. This is a very small plant growing on Lophomyrtus obcordata at Riccarton Bush Christchurch. Photographed 25 June 2022.
I have put all these photos up so it shows the flattened stems which act as leaves. You can see the new growth appearing which are probably flower stems. Flowers are tiny, green/creamy green and fruit is also tiny.
Said to be common on east Coast of South Island and in the North Island from Waiarapa south.
